The Abbey Hotel is housed in a Georgian terraced building, which dates from 1742. Its location, on North Parade, means that although it’s in the centre of the city it has a pleasant, open outlook. Bus tours exploring Bath and the surrounding area leave from outside its door. In contrast to the classical façade, the interior of the hotel is extremely modern. The intimate lobby area features pastel décor, complemented by dark wood fittings. The same pastel décor is evident in the 60 guestrooms, this time complemented by light wood fittings. All are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. A full English or Continental breakfast is available every morning in the light and airy breakfast room.
